Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She performed the role of Anna Garner the leading role in The Girl Experience. She performed her first movie role in Babysitters where she played Brenda Woodberg. Krause was a drama major in college as well as appearing in numerous off-Broadway shows. She also played in the New York location of episodes of networks' TV shows. Professionally, her father of the half Japanese and American by birth, is her professional career. Nathaniel his brother Nathaniel is a highly successful director. After studying at Washington School of Ballet and performing in musicals, plays and other performances by Henry Krieger and Bill Russell in high school she decided to concentrate on her love for arts. Krause attended an acting class at Carnegie Mellon Drama School after high school. Krause started her acting career shortly following. She earned her Equity card through her performance in a musical based on Aida. Louisa Krause got her start with the stage. She began her career in 2006 with her company, the Huntington Theatre Company. She played Iphigenia, in Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 from 2007.
